Infant Heart Murmur I Was Told My Daughter Has A Heart Murmur?

I was told my daughter has a heart murmur? - infant heart murmur

Hello. I went to the doctor yesterday with my daughter (and her little boy, but that's another story), for his routine 2-year test, and the doctor told me she has a heart murmur ... . I say that is normal, and we are seeing on the waiting list for the pediatric cardiologist, but I'm still interested ... Anyone else have this?

Let me tell you my story:) I was born with two holes in my heart (PDA and VSD). Both were closed successfully at the age of 4 months ago. I had a valvular leak, leading to a heart murmur. It did not hurt me physically, but it is incredibly small before the operation. Due to the fact of the leak, I need the medicine of the dentist. Make sure you push your doctor for answers. My doctor when I was younger, I told my parents that I was perfectly healthy when he was in fact a sick child. I hope your daughter is, of course deleted. I wish you much luck and appointments with your doctor.

The oldest is now almost 16 years and had a heart defect discovered before it was. He plays all sports and. It is quite normal, but there are some very serious operation to undergo, but almost never. My son had to get to extract, when he 10 years and everything is in order. It's something I've always, unless it is very low, and then take care of over time. Get tests, but do not worry, it will go well.

My kids still have a heart murmur, but I do. Was detected in dying and asked me if I had rheumatic fever. They said that mimics the flu, so I had the flu several times in my youth, so who knows. It was confirmed that in the past year, still has the heart murmur, but made no objection. It is for many people. I could be born with him, but that was taken within two years, I do not know whether it was or not. Do not be too much about it. I know who is involved, but that's understandable. Mom will be OK. :)

My children found at birth, and was told that would be obvious in a few days. Now I have to accept the mistake she did. Then check in the last 2 years, my new and experienced Dr. told me that I could still hear. I assume that the rate of breathing on a scale. Can heart murmur Google in adolescence, so if you're with the doctor that you are going to know what you mean. Although I made the mistake of assuming that I am glad I am, he is the man who had done what he hit. My doctor told me that 60% of his patients have heart murmurs and 75% of the noise away from 12 years ago. The odds are in our favor! I am sure he is nervous / anxious. I cried when I found out, but if you more about what you can see how it is ... Good luck!

Heart murmurs are common and usually harmless. This is not a disease, it's just a strange noise the doctor hears with a stethoscope. Do not worry, but of course that is in question. Expect to see the specialist. The chances are very good. Good luck

My husband is 37 and has a heart murmur. Her life is normal and does not affect them in any aspect.

However ... Jump to testing, because everyone is different!

Good luck to you! :)

I was born with a heart defect and hole in my heart. each year and concluded the noise was about 3 or 4, but I have SVT (heart problems unrelated). I'm sure it must be scary and disturbing, as it was for my parents ... But with all the technology today is in good hands. a pediatric cardiologist, is the best bet. (I went to AI Dupont I loved her, but I'm biased), and then try to over-activity (on the part of it indeed limit) easier said than done. Enjoy the best ... -Jess
